Diving some of the most exciting locations on the East coast of South Africa (just South of Durban) with ScubaAddicts.
With exciting boat launches through the surf, followed by exhilarating drift dives with the guaranteed chance to see big sharks.
Diving of Aliwal Shoal you are guaranteed to see the famous Sand Bar Sharks (or locally called Ragged Tooth Sharks "Raggies"). These sharks are often seen in aquariums but here is a chance to see these magnificent creatures up close and in the wild.
Then only a short drive down the coast is the famous Protea Banks. Here you will do fast drift dives over a 35m reef but you won't have a chance to look at the reef as you stare into the blue to see Hammerheads and Bull sharks locally called "Zambezies".
Then there is also Sodwana Bay (north of Durban) where you can do tropical dives along pretty reefs to see unusual critters like Pineapple Fish, Leaf Fish and Giant Stingrays.
There is also a chance to see Whale sharks.
