Dive
site is known as ‘The
Silfra Crack’ Location
is in the Thingvellir National
Park, Iceland.This is reported
as being one of the top five
dives in the world. You certainly
won’t get better viz anywhere..!
Water temperature is between
2 & 4 degrees but on a summer’s
day, this is very refreshing.
This is a freshwater dive and
the water is so good you can
drink it, that is why the viz
is so good. This is a stunning
dive. The down side is that
two dives will set you back
ISK.24900 which in real money
is a whopping £200-00,
plus you’ve got to get
there. However, this is a stunning
location and there are other
dive sites, and if you fancy
taking out a second mortgage
you could do them all in 3 or
4 days.
